btw Ceramics is the company of designer Brooke T. Winfrey, based in Brooklyn. Beginning in Fall 2011, btw Ceramics started with a line of striped dinnerware with a distinct handmade touch. The aim of this unique ceramics line is to create minimal functional ceramics that are modern and approachable. With creative details such as precocious lines that can't be straight or subtle uneven texture, the hand formed shapes are highlighted. Each piece is treated as its own individual creation where the irregularities are embraced and the moment-to-moment approach is captured in the expressive creations as the artist’s hand is left to be blatantly and proudly shown.
